This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) sets out the rules for using GroundDesk, a product of On The Ground. It forms part of, and is incorporated into, our Terms of Service. By using the Service, you and your Workspace members agree to follow this AUP.
1. No illegal or harmful content
You must not use the Service to store, generate, or share content that:
- is unlawful under Singapore law or any applicable law;
- infringes intellectual-property rights or misappropriates trade secrets;
- is defamatory, harassing, threatening, hateful, or promotes violence;
- is fraudulent, deceptive, or intended to facilitate a scam or money-laundering;
- contains malware, or is intended to compromise the security of any system or network.
2. Respect other people’s data
You must not upload or process personal data about other people unless you have a lawful basis to do so and, where required, their consent. Handle personal data you put into GroundDesk in line with the Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA) and our Privacy Policy. Do not upload data you are not authorised to share.
3. No abuse of the AI features
You must not use GroundDesk’s AI features to:
- generate content that is illegal, harmful, or infringing, or that violates any part of this AUP;
- attempt to bypass, jailbreak, or defeat safety controls or usage limits of the underlying AI models;
- impersonate others, generate misleading “deepfake” material, or produce deliberately false statements presented as fact;
- treat AI outputs (such as legal, financial, HR, tax, or CPF outputs) as professional advice — these are assistive only and must be independently verified, as set out in our Terms of Service.
4. No abuse of the Service or fair use
You must not:
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service, other Workspaces’ data, or our systems;
- probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Service, or breach its security or authentication;
- interfere with or disrupt the Service, including through excessive automated requests, scraping, or denial-of-service activity;
- circumvent usage, rate, or storage limits, or share access in a way designed to avoid subscription tiers;
- resell or provide the Service to third parties except as expressly permitted.
We apply reasonable fair-use limits to keep the Service fast and reliable for everyone. If your usage is significantly beyond normal patterns for your plan, we may contact you to adjust it.
5. Enforcement
If you breach this AUP, we may remove offending content, throttle, suspend, or terminate access, and, where required, report unlawful activity to the authorities. We will use reasonable judgement and, where practical, give notice — but we may act immediately where there is a risk of harm to the Service, other users, or third parties.
6. Reporting
To report a violation of this AUP, email dpo@ontheground.agency.
